Ah Ma RIP

My beloved Ah Ma (Mom's side) passed away earlier this morning.

Dear Ah Ma, we will never forget the love, affection and tenderness you showed us all from birth to adulthood, you are always the Ah Ma we love and still love.

RIP.

Love, your family.

Katy Perry's Fireworks, It Does Mean Something

Katy Perry's Fireworks caught my eyes and ear on Youtube 1 year ago, till now the lyrics and the tune are still deep inside my mind.

They really do speak for me and a lot of people out there too.

We all felt like a plastic bag, used and tossed around now and then.
We all felt like we needed to be more perfect in our looks, our size, our hair even.

That's why every single person born in this earth is unique and individual.

As much as I can do plastic surgery to become a clone of Rain or Siwon, I can't change my voice, my mannerisms, my habits, my identity.

As much as I can lose 10 kg off my weight, get a 6 pack, get a buzz cut, I can't change my skin color, my tastes in life.

Its easy for us all to gossip about the celebrity (male or female) who had a lip tucked, a stomach flattened, boob size enhanced and more but lets face it, we are just plain jealous deep inside.

MapleStory Legends: Bishop Please!

Many friends have asked me questions relating to the Bishop in Maplestory, with so many changes since Big Bang to Jump/Ascension for the previously "buff-only" bishop, this is the all new Bishop guide for Bishops who love and want to go bossing often SOLO.

Equipment:
1.) Concentrate on pure INT only equipment wherever possible (as you will be going pure INT for the awesome bossing damage, the higher amount of MP won't hurt either), even though the new MA formula factors in LUK as well, pure INT will still overpower the rest.
2.) Elemental wands and staves can be used by Bishops in MapleSEA as far as I know.
#Thankfully for MapleSEA players, we have the onyz, bronze and gold source weapons requiring 0 stats to equip.
3.) Aim for earrings, capes, shields with % INT stats under the potential stats usually those being 6%, 9% or more.
4.) Aim for shoulderpads (120 and above)
5.) Aim for Chaos Horntail Necklace/MoN

Stats to add:
Just add  all of your AP into INT all the way.

Skills to max:
Cleric - Heal, Bless, Teleport, High Wisdom, Invincible, Spell Mastery, MP Eater
Priest - Dispel, Mystic Door, Holy Symbol, Shining Ray, Holy Focus, Holy Magic Shell, Teleport Mastery, Booster
Bishop - Angel Ray, Bahamut, Infinity, Ressurection, Advanced Blessing, Arcane Aim, Buff Mastery, Maple Warrior (Priority is to max first Angel Ray, Arcane Aim, Advanced Blessing, Bahamut and Infinity to solo bosses ASAP once you have advanced to the Bishop.)

Skills for the Bishop that do not need to be maxed:
1.) Genesis - the 30 second cooldown still makes it not so trigger happy
2.) Big Bang - rendered more useless now after the changes made in Jump/Ascension

Potions recommended for 120 and above:
Ginger Ales, Elixirs, Power Elixirs

Buff Potions recommended:
Wizard Elixir, Chicken Soup, Onyx Apple, Energy Drink

Complementary buffs:
Angelic Blessing Ring's Archangel, Dark Angelic Blessing Ring's Darkarchangel, Meditation, Maple Warrior

Bosses very suitable for soloing:
Scarlion, Targa - Level 130 and above
Papulatus - Level 125 and above
Zakum - Level 130 and above
Samurai - Level 110 and above
Angeo - Level 120 and above

Thankfulness!

I am thankful the sun rises and sets without question.
I am thankful the moon still glows unfailingly at night without question.
I am thankful McDonald's is still open and their Fillet O Fish never runs out.

What are some other things that we can be thankful for?
I've heard that the Japanese get up in the mornings and face the rising sun to give thanks.

Perhaps our busy lives in this modern world make us too caught up.
Yes, everyone take someone for granted now and then without question too.

Give thanks for the auntie who sells your favourite bee hoon every morning without fail even though she is groucy.
Give thanks for the uncle who delivers your newspaper to your household every morning without fail even though you do not see him in the action.
